Suffolk moves into Tier 4 on Boxing Day

23rd December 2020

The Government announced today that more areas, including Suffolk will move into Tier 4 on Boxing Day.

Sadly, this means that we must close our accommodation to holiday guests from Boxing Day until further notice. We are in the process of contacting each guest who has a booking affected by the new restrictions within the next coupe of weeks. If guests are already staying in our holiday accommodation, they are able to complete their stay. Holiday bookings after Boxing Day, unfortunately will not be able to go ahead. We are giving the option of amending their dates or offering a full refund.

In line with Government guidance there are exceptions:

Guest accommodation providers such as hotels, B&Bs and caravan parks may remain open for the specific reasons set out in law, including where guests are unable to return to their main residence, use that guest accommodation as their main residence, need accommodation while moving house, are self-isolating as required by law, or would otherwise be made homeless as a result of the accommodation closing.
