Easing of lockdown

23rd February 2021

On 22nd February the Government set out a ‘road map’ for easing restrictions. If all goes to plan, from 12th April, UK domestic holidays away from home will be permitted, with self-contained accommodation for use by members of the same household.

We confirm that our holiday accommodation will open from 12th April for members of the same household and for up to six people from two households on 17th May. From 21st June, assuming all Government criteria has been met, all legal limits on social contact will be removed, therefore there is no limit on the number of households staying in one property and we can accept the maximum occupancy. The Farmhouse, for instance, sleeps 8 guests.

We are contacting guests who have booked to stay before April 12th and offering the opportunity to defer their dates or a full refund. These special terms will continue if guests are unable to travel due to Government COVID restrictions. Otherwise, our normal terms and conditions apply.

We are permitted to accept guests in exceptional circumstances prior to 12th April in line with Government guidance:

Guest accommodation providers such as hotels, B&Bs and caravan parks may remain open for the specific reasons set out in law, including where guests are unable to return to their main residence, use that guest accommodation as their main residence, need accommodation while moving house, are self-isolating as required by law, or would otherwise be made homeless as a result of the accommodation closing.
