This brand new spectacular barn conversion has sweeping views over a large south facing lawn and the countryside beyond. Designed to retain much of it’s original character with exposed beams and detail, it oozes charm combined with contemporary style. Boasting a stunning gallery landing, an enormous modern kitchen/diner and an abundance of natural light, the Barn offers beautiful and spacious holiday accommodation.

Please note that the lawn will be seeded this spring so it will be a couple of months before it’s green!

Property description

Grounds: The Barn overlooks a south facing patio and  large lawn which has beautiful views over the  countryside beyond and is for the exclusive use of the Barn guests. A perfect area for enjoying the views, sipping a gin and tonic, dining al fresco and plenty of space for children to let off steam. The rear of the Barn backs onto the other cottages at Boundary Farm but neither are overlooked, therefore providing the Barn with complete privacy. Boundary Farm is set among five acres of meadows and fields bordering a public footpath providing more space to be explored and enjoyed.

Living Area: Large entrance double glass doors lead into a spacious, light and airy tiled hall open to the eaves. The hall opens onto the lounge which is generously sized, tastefully and comfortably furnished and features a wood burner ideal for snuggling up in front up of the TV,  amiable conversation among friends or family, or reading a book in peace and quiet.

The kitchen/diner: A stunning space in the property, this large modern, light and airy room overlooks the garden with bi-fold doors opening onto the terrace.  Featuring shaker style kitchen units, an island with bar stools, a dining table seating eight, a sideboard and a sofa, it is fully equipped with range electric cooker, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dryer.

Bedrooms: All four bedrooms are characterful with many exposed oak beams. The downstairs  double bedroom (king) and the double bedroom above it on the first floor (zip and link bed) are dual aspect with fabulous views to the south and west over the fields. They are beautifully furnished in painted solid wood furniture. There are a further two smaller bedrooms upstairs: one is a twin room which faces East and the other a standard double faces South.

Bathrooms: Downstairs is a lovely shower room with toilet, vanity wash basin unit and shower. Upstairs is a beautiful bathroom featuring a bath with shower over it, vanity wash basin and WC.
